This program is designed for new graduates entering the Commercial Analyst role in 2027. The role involves analyzing credit information to support lending decisions and processes for new and existing Commercial banking loans and credit solutions within an assigned portfolio of clients. The analyst will make credit decisions and recommendations in compliance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining an exceptional client service environment. Key activities include performing financial analysis, assessing client creditworthiness, preparing credit summaries, analyzing financial performance and risk profiles, supporting credit-granting decisions, negotiating loan terms, structuring loans, monitoring portfolio performance and compliance, analyzing metrics, assessing industry trends, developing proposals for new business, monitoring loan performance and documentation, building client relationships, conducting financial analysis and risk assessments, minimizing risk exposure, serving as a point of contact for service requests, supporting initiatives to enhance service quality, acquiring new business, expanding client relationships, identifying revenue and cross-selling opportunities, identifying share of wallet opportunities, leveraging analysis tools, managing data entry, and potentially focusing on a specific business/group. The role requires creative thinking, problem-solving within given rules, and working mostly independently, with broader accountabilities assigned as needed. It also emphasizes taking measured risks and applying the Risk Management Framework.
