Command Center Flex Officer
About The Position
The Command Center Flex Officer will be trained to address alarms, fire panels, monitor security cameras, answer phones, and direct Mobile Officers. This role is responsible for conducting proper sign-in procedures for access control to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The ideal candidate must possess strong computer skills, demonstrate excellent customer service, and be able to work collaboratively with a team. This role also requires solid written communication skills for drafting incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as needed. Officers must remain alert, professional, and responsive while maintaining a visible security presence and providing assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
Requirements
- REQUIRED DL & DRIVER TRAINING.
- Command Center trained.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Solid written communication skills.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
- Pass our drug screen and background check.
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
