About The Position

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Command Aware and Radio Systems Administrator to join our team in Alexandria, VA, Philadelphia, PA, or Chandler, AZ. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week. In this role, you will perform the administration, data integrity checks, and cross-functional coordination of our Command Aware systems, ensuring seamless tactical communications and robust data management across the entire Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network/Telecommunications Engineering or a related field AND 4+ years of work experience, OR Master's and 2+ years of experience, OR Associate and 6+ years of experience, OR High School diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience
  • Experience operating as an IT Systems Engineer or Network & Systems Administrator within a complex enterprise environment
  • Experience performing large-scale data updates, tracking historical changes, and managing alias databases or configurations across distributed teams
  • Proven ability to execute reliable data backup, storage, and long-term records management procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence
  • U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain agency suitability prior to starting this position
  • Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience administering or coordinating within Motorola Command Aware or closely related tactical management suites
  • Experience working with and maintaining formal technical policies, compliance procedures, and organizational guidelines for federal or regulated systems

Responsibilities

  • Support Command Aware coordination efforts to continuously update, maintain, and validate critical operational data
  • Coordinate directly with field personnel to assist in planning and executing comprehensive, AOR-wide system and data updates
  • Accurately update radios within the Command Aware platform with designated call signs and organize structural folders with radio user profiles
  • Collaborate closely with TACCOM staff to implement, manage, and coordinate essential updates to the alias database for communication consoles
  • Follow established processes for data backup, secure storage, and historical tracking to preserve system auditing
  • Utilize technical policies, operational procedures, and work instructions to maintain a robust records management framework
