A highly skilled and detail-oriented F/A-18 COM/NAV Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) is responsible for performing, inspecting, and verifying the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of communication and navigation systems on F/A-18 aircraft. This role ensures that all COM/NAV system work is completed in accordance with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) standards and safety protocols.
