Reporting directly to the Chair of the Department(s) of Orthopedics and/or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), the Administrator oversees departmental fiscal operations, regulatory compliance, and faculty/staff employment and operational needs. In partnership with departmental leadership, this role develops and executes administrative and business strategies that support clinical excellence, academic advancement, multidisciplinary musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation services, and research initiatives. The Administrator collaborates closely with physicians, faculty, rehabilitation professionals, research teams, clinic leadership, and administrative staff to ensure efficient departmental operations across ambulatory, procedural, and academic settings. Responsibilities include oversight of clinical and research budgets, operational workflow optimization, strategic planning, program development, and implementation of initiatives that enhance patient access, care delivery, education, and departmental growth.
