Organization & Team Overview MachineQ is at the center of innovation for Comcast, providing scalable Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that help leading brands transform operations across diverse industries. As part of Comcast Business, we’re accelerating the company’s enterprise solutions strategy with our proven IoT platform, while exploring emerging technologies like Vision Intelligence. The MachineQ marketing team is a small, high‑impact team that owns all facets of marketing for MachineQ, including brand, content, PR, digital, events, and product marketing. We also work hand‑in‑hand with the Comcast Business marketing organization to shape how IoT and Vision Intelligence show up across the enterprise solutions portfolio. Working on the MachineQ marketing team offers the opportunity to work cross‑functionally across MachineQ and with marketing peers across Comcast Business. What are some interesting problems the student will work on? Conducting market and competitive research to understand trends in IoT, Vision Intelligence, and other emerging technologies Helping shape solutions messaging and translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives Contributing to the evolution of Comcast Business’ enterprise solution messaging as MachineQ integrates into the broader portfolio Participating in new product and solution launches, from positioning to go‑to‑market execution Developing content and campaigns across multiple verticals, helping teams tailor messaging for diverse audiences Helping enhance our SEO / AEO / GEO strategy by keeping up with evolving trends and best practices Building reports and identifying trends and analysis across marketing activities Supporting the independent MachineQ brand while partnering closely with Comcast Business to ensure cohesive, enterprise‑ready storytelling Where can this student make an impact? As a Marketing Intern at MachineQ, you’ll make an immediate impact by contributing to high‑visibility marketing and go‑to‑market initiatives that shape how our solutions show up in the market. You’ll work on strategic projects, gain experience presenting to senior leadership, and collaborate cross-functionally, building a strong understanding of how Marketing intersects with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations in a fast‑moving tech environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between December 2026 - May 2028)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Responsibilities

  • Achieving foundational fluency in MachineQ’s platform and core technologies, including how our solutions deliver value across key verticals
  • Conducting marketing‑focused competitive research to evaluate competitor positioning, content strategies, conversion paths, case studies, customer logos, and other go‑to‑market signals
  • Researching emerging solution categories to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics that inform messaging and positioning
  • Supporting persona development and target‑account insights through customer, market, and industry research that strengthens segmentation and accelerates sales motion
  • Strategizing, executing, and managing targeted marketing campaigns, including audience identification, messaging and asset development, automation workflows, Salesforce setup, and performance measurement
  • Contributing to ad‑hoc research, content development, and presentation materials for high‑priority enterprise opportunities
  • Maintaining regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned
