The HR Enablement and Employee Experience team creates a smooth, intuitive experience for both employees and HR teams by optimizing workflows, enhancing platforms, and driving initiatives that improve engagement and satisfaction. We design and enable clear, consistent, and human-centered tools, processes, and technologies that support efficient HR service delivery and improve key moments across the employee journey. Role Description As an HR Communications Specialist intern on the HR Enablement and Employee Experience team, you will play a critical role in shaping how we engage and connect with Comcast Business employees. You’ll support and manage various communication channels, using tools like SharePoint, EmailOpen, Viva Engage, Asana, Vimeo, Biteable, Canva, and more – which can serve over 8,000 employees. This role is ideal for someone who is a creative storyteller, pays close attention to detail, and can communicate key HR updates in a creative yet meaningful way. You can expect to own multiple communication channels while collaborating with our highly motivated HR stakeholders to keep employees engaged and informed. What are some interesting problems the student will work on? Help design a more efficient process for creating and distributing HR newsletters to multiple audiences (leaders, employees, international teams). Work on making newsletters more engaging and relevant by analyzing what content resonates most with different audiences. You’ll learn how to tailor messaging for global teams and diverse employee groups. Develop a system to track engagement metrics (open rates, click-throughs) and collect data from internal events to measure impact. Use these insights to recommend improvements for future communications. Contribute to recurring initiatives like YourVoice surveys, integrity training, compliance programs, etc. ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and impactful. Where can this student make an impact? Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Responsibilities

  • Help the planning, coordination, and execution of internal newsletters, ensuring content is timely and aligns with established communication standards, guidelines, and messaging.
  • Create engaging social campaigns and visual content on Viva Engage to recognize employees, promote communication campaign initiatives, highlight employee activation events, and drive engagement.
  • Support the planning, communication, and execution of Comcast Business’ internal events portfolio, ensuring events reflect Comcast Business’ brand and are aligned with company standards.
  • Works independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, including ad-hoc, cyclical HR communication campaigns.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
