We are looking for a talented Combustion and Emissions Systems Engineer to join our Cummins Inc. team onsite in Seymour, Indiana. In this role, you will make an impact by investigating thermal and fluid system challenges to identify root causes and deliver data-driven solutions that improve product performance. You will apply combustion, emissions, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics principles to support innovative and environmentally responsible product development. You will leverage analytical, simulation, and experimental methods to influence design decisions and optimize system architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to drive informed technical decisions and project success. You will execute validation, testing, and verification activities that improve product reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will support the development and advancement of engineering processes, tools, and best practices that enhance technical excellence. You will analyze technical data and performance trends to mitigate risks, solve complex problems, and improve product capability.
