About The Position

We are seeking skilled Combo Welders & Pipefitters for a project in Maryville, TN. This role involves performing various welding techniques on pipe and structural components, as well as cutting, fitting, and installing pipe systems according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction practices, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Combo Welding -OR- Commercial/Industrial Pipefitting
Welders must pass a weld test
Must be familiar with butt welds on carbon and stainless
All trades must have their own basic basic hand tools
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Must pass drug screen and all required background checks

OSHA 10 OR 30 preferred

Responsibilities

Perform TIG, MIG, stick, and/or flux-cored welding on pipe and structural components
Weld pipe systems for commercial and industrial construction projects
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
Cut, fit, tack, and weld piping systems and components
Prepare surfaces and materials for welding
Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and related tools
Work closely with pipefitters, project supervisors, and field crews
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and benders
Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications
Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines
Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications
Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
Perform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision
Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
Complete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shift
Work all hours assigned
