We are committed to delivering excellence and are currently seeking a skilled Combo Aluminum TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. As a Welder at Environmental Air Systems, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, contributing to the production of cutting-edge environmental control systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in TIG welding techniques, with a focus on aluminum materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing welds that meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG welding, with a focus on aluminum materials.
Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality welds with attention to detail and precision.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
Proactive problem-solving ability with a focus on continuous improvement.
Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary
Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels

Nice To Haves

Certification in welding is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on aluminum components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure accurate assembly and welding of aluminum parts for environmental control systems.
Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Report any safety concerns or issues promptly.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Work closely with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals and timelines.
Identify and address any issues related to welding processes, materials, or equipment, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
