INDUS supports the planning, coordination, and installation activities of Combat System and Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C5I) Systems in aircraft carriers, and other strike group or strike force units (including but not limited to LHA, LHD, LPD, and other L-Class units). Our team is directly responsible for supporting the planning, budgeting, and execution of New Construction (SCN) testing and modernization efforts on Amphibious ship Combat Systems for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department, Amphibious Combat Systems. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Combat Systems Project Engineer (CSPE) plans and coordinates engineering, training, and ship qualification tests supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department, Combat Systems & Test and Evaluation Division, Amphibious Combat Systems Branch on the CVN/L-Class contract. The ideal candidate has extensive technical knowledge in Aircraft Carrier and/or Amphibious Ship Combat Systems Engineering. We have multiple openings in San Diego, CA.
