Combat Systems Analyst
About The Position
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Combat Systems Analyst to join our team working in the Washington D.C. Navy Yard. This is an onsite position. The role involves assisting the Aegis Readiness Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance. Responsibilities also include attending high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues, and maintaining a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 3+ years of Navy fleet experience as a US Navy officer
- Experience communicating effectively with technical and non-technical staff as well as senior leadership.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Possess an active or current secret security clearance
