The Color Lab Technician develops products in a laboratory environment. The role involves preparing and testing powder coatings, documenting results, adjusting formulations through trial and error, and preparing customer samples and trials. Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Basic math and writing skills.
- Pass a math and color vision test.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing or laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Weigh, extrude, mill, grind, and clean up powder coating.
- Spray test panels.
- Perform laboratory tests using approved testing methods.
- Document test results.
- Adjust formulations based on trial-and-error methods.
- Prepare customer samples and trials.
