About The Position

The Color Burst Lacquer painter at Gibson performs hand spraying on guitars. In charge of making sure all paint and lacquer finishing is up to company standards. Keeping paint booths and equipment clean and investigating any quality issues that may arise.

Requirements

Painting (E-stat sprayer) experience is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Adhere to finishing standards when painting guitars, including the ability to match colors (100+ color offerings)
Ability to accurately match core offerings as well as matching photos provided by the sales team and customers (100+ color offerings)
Ability to provide and maintain a contaminate free environment within the booth
Use spray gun to produce an even coat on all products.
Document any modification to the material. (adding EEP)
Ensure the paint equipment is cleaned properly.
Inspect finishing room for safety violations.
5S area and conduct layered audits.
Paint Vault Check List is in use and up to date for compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
