About The Position

Busy Collision Center for a New Car Auto Dealership is in need of an experienced Autobody Technician due to an overwhelming increase in business. Newer state of the art paint booth. Heated shop with lots of room and a great work atmosphere. We are a 105 year old company with strong roots in the Southshore and Greater Boston area. Above average Compensation for the right individual. We are seeking a Certified Collision Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have past dealership experience and a strong background in collision centers. The day-to-day duties of this role include repairing damaged parts, communicating with the parts department to obtain necessary parts, and documenting all repairs performed. Requirements

Past collision center experience is required
Able to work in fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a Ford dealership is a plus
ASE Certification is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Determine and repair damaged parts
Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
Document all repairs performed
Document all materials used
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
Follow all company safety procedures
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
