About The Position

CSI is seeking dedicated Collision Repair Technicians who value a family-oriented work environment. Unlike some larger corporations, we ensure that our repair plans include adequate time for all necessary procedures to perform repairs correctly according to manufacturer specifications. Our facility is a clean, heated, and cooled 7,500 sq ft shop equipped with top-grade equipment, including a Garmat downdraft booth, Car-o-liner frame machines, digital welder, resistance welders, and scissor lifts for all technicians. Requirements

Legal to work in the US.
5 years of experience in auto body repair (less experience may be considered).
2 years of experience properly executing very difficult auto body repair jobs ('A' tech level).
Numerous attendances at auto body repair training classes.
A desire to create only high-quality results.
Honest, constructive, hard-working, personable, and able to work and communicate with others without attitude.
Must be a true 'A' technician (top 5%) with an efficient work process; no sloppy work.
Live within a 30-minute drive from Hwy 55 & Hwy 54.

Nice To Haves

Past I-CAR training(s) are a plus.
"Combo" auto body technician+painter are welcome.

Responsibilities

Perform full tear downs of vehicles.
Document items needing repair for the estimator.
Measure vehicles using a frame machine.
Repair and build out auto body damage to achieve above-average to top-quality results efficiently.
Continuously learn and improve trade skills to become a leader in the field.
Professionally interact with insurance agents and customers, remaining composed.
Ensure client cars are returned to their original condition, not just a minimally acceptable state.
