About The Position

Anchor Collision in Hyannis, MA is seeking a full-time Paint & Prep Technician to join their team. This role involves preparing vehicles for painting, assessing damage, and ensuring a high-quality finish. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive collision paint repair and be able to work on multiple makes of vehicles.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive collision paint repair experience preferred
• Collision Repair experience preferred
• Must be able to work on and repair multiple makes of vehicles
• Pay close attention to detail and quality of work performed
• Must be able to follow all safety protocols using protective equipment
• Valid driver’s license required and clean MVR
• Maintain the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Mask/Prepare vehicles for painting
• Thoroughly review each repair order prior to working on vehicle
• Assessing and analyzing the damaged areas to prep for painting
• Remove all dust and other particles from prepared panels
• Must be able to sand, tape, prime, buff, mask and polish panels
• Remove imperfections from new paint
• Other duties assigned by the manager
