About The Position

We are seeking an Appraiser to inspect, photograph and appraise damage to vehicles and other property damaged in an automobile accident or loss. This role involves analyzing damage, estimating repairs using repair manuals and expertise, reviewing repair costs with the team, preparing insurance forms, and communicating with colleagues, technicians, customers, and vendors for an efficient workflow.

Requirements

Appraisal License is required.
3-5 years of experience in handling auto physical damage appraisals.
CCC Pathways and/or other electronic appraisal formats required.
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required.

Nice To Haves

Collision Center experience and/or familiarity with the field adjusters/insurance industries.
I-CAR certification preferred, but not required.
Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Bi-lingual preferred, but not required.
High Energy, busy shop.

Responsibilities

Inspect, photograph, and appraise damage to vehicles and other property damaged in an automobile accident or loss.
Analyze damage to the body, structure, mechanicals, electrical, or interior of the vehicle.
Estimate parts and labor costs using repair manuals and education/knowledge.
Review and agree on repair costs and final damage assessments with the team.
Prepare insurance forms detailing repair cost estimates and recommendations.
Communicate with colleagues, fellow technicians, customers, and vendors to ensure an efficient experience and maintain open communication.
