About The Position

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a qualified Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join their winning team. This role involves preparing vehicles to ensure a quality refinish repair, restoring them to pre-accident condition. The prepper will thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prepare each vehicle for refinishing according to insurance guidelines and facility standards. Requirements

1-2 Years prior collision refinish prepping experience preferred
Ability to surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
Ability to apply all primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
Ability to complete restoration of anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, product mixing, and application.
Ability to evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job will result.
Ability to thoroughly sand, masks, primes, and prepares each vehicle for refinishing as per insurance guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
