About The Position

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Collision General Manager for their Dallas/Fort Worth, TX location. This is an onsite, in-person leadership position. This posting is part of an ongoing effort to identify qualified candidates for current and future opportunities, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis. The General Manager is primarily responsible for providing an exceptional and successful customer experience while leading and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the store in compliance with established policies and procedures. They will plan and implement daily operations to ensure KPIs and insurance metrics are met, and will coach and empower team members. The General Manager promotes the highest quality standards of professionalism and plays a pivotal role in customer experience by ensuring alignment with all team members, leading by example at all times.

Requirements

  • 2-3 Years Minimum prior CCC1 experience preferred
  • 1-2 years prior experience general ledger: accounts receivables/payables preferred
  • 3-4 years prior experience in customer service excellence required
  • Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful client experience.
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  • Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
  • Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
  • Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
  • Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
  • Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
  • Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth.
  • Provide training for all staff as necessary.
  • Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
  • Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.
  • Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery dates.
  • Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards.
  • Manage store capacity.
  • Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
  • Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings.
  • Attend monthly managers meetings.
  • Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership Team.
  • Store CSI performance review and follow up within 24 hours.
