About The Position

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Collision Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience. This role involves assessing vehicle damage, documenting necessary repairs and parts, and coordinating the repair process. The Estimator will communicate with customers and insurance companies, ensuring all repair needs are met and keeping customers informed throughout the process. This position plays a key role in achieving the repair facility's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by working collaboratively with team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year experience Required
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 2-3 Years Minimum prior CCC1 experience preferred
  • 1-2 years prior experience general ledger: accounts receivables/payables preferred
  • 3-4 years prior experience in customer service excellence required
  • Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
  • Awareness of where to look for answers
  • Compliance for DRP’s

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details.
  • Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery.
  • Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
  • Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
  • Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures.
  • Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required.
  • Support all team members when required.
  • Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required).
  • Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager.
