About The Position

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Collision Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience. This role involves assessing vehicle damage, creating estimates, coordinating repairs, and communicating with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator plays a key role in achieving the repair facility's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by working collaboratively with team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Compliance for DRP’s.
  • Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 Years Minimum prior CCC1 experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years prior experience general ledger: accounts receivables/payables preferred.
  • 3-4 years prior experience in customer service excellence required.
  • Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.
  • Awareness of where to look for answers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details.
  • Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery.
  • Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
  • Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
  • Understand all required Insurance programs and procedures.
  • Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required.
  • Support all team members when required.
  • Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required).
  • Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
