Steele Collision Center – Halifax, NS (On-Site)

High-Volume Shop | Up to $8,000 Bonus | Immediate Opening

Steele Collision Center is actively seeking an experienced Collision Estimator
to join our high-performing team in Halifax. This role is ideal for someone who
has hands-on experience writing estimates, working with insurance partners, and
managing repair workflows in a fast-paced collision environment.

production-driven shop, this is an opportunity to step into a stable,
high-volume operation with strong earning potential.

Annual Wage Range: $46,500 - $66,500 Plus up to $8000 Yearly Performance Bonus

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of collision estimating experience in a body shop environment
• Hands-on experience with estimating systems such as Mitchell or Audatex
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and DRP workflows
• Proven ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy in estimate writing
• Strong communication and customer service skill

Responsibilities

• Write accurate and detailed collision repair estimates using Mitchell and/or Audatex
• Communicate directly with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process
• Review vehicle damage and ensure proper repair procedures are followed
• Coordinate with technicians to align estimates with repair requirements
• Manage multiple files while maintaining accuracy and turnaround times
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company and insurance standards
• Support workflow efficiency and contribute to overall shop productivity
