About The Position

Grizzly Trail Motors has a career opportunity for a highly driven Collision Estimator to join our busy team. The successful candidate will guide customers through the vehicle repair process by examining damaged vehicles, writing accurate estimates while coordinating with insurance, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate either has prior estimating experience or is a strong Service/Parts Advisor looking for an opportunity to expand their skillset in the collision industry.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

2-3 years of experience as either a collision estimator, or as a service or parts advisor
Exceptional customer service and communication skills to ensure customers are genuinely cared for
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive attitude
I-CAR certifications are considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical and interior damage
Estimate the cost of labour and parts to repair or replace each damaged component
Prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines and expectations
Adjust and update the estimate as the repair process progresses
Prepare insurance forms and communicate closely with third party insurance adjusters to obtain approvals and address concerns
Collaborate with the auto body technicians, painters and preppers to ensure repair is on track
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation throughout entire repair process
