About The Position

Northside Lexus is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reconditioning Specialist to join our Collision Center team. Under the leadership of the Collision Center Manager, this role is responsible for restoring Pre-Owned Vehicles vehicles to factory-standard quality and ensuring every repaired vehicle exceeds our guests’ expectations. This position plays a critical role in delivering the luxury-level finish and craftsmanship our Northside Lexus customers expect.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to two years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid Driver's License

Prefer a secondary level of technical education (Trade School); not required

Responsibilities

Report for work at assigned time(s); leave at assigned time(s).
Paint assigned vehicles according to approved estimates from pre-own department.
Prepare and mix paint colors accurately to match factory finish.
Coordinate with the pre-own management team the expected timelines for vehicle repairs.
Produce acceptable repairs that are in agreement with the standards agreed by the pre-own management.
Maintain and properly safeguard all shop painting tools and equipment.
Work safely.
Comply with all safety rules particularly those dealing with working in confined spaces, paint booths, or in service pits.
Maintain a clean, neat, and safe storage room, mixing room, and working area.
Use shop equipment and tools safely.
Wear required personal protective equipment: breathing apparatus, clothing, footwear, gloves, masks, safety glasses, etc.
Dispose of paints, paint containers, and any hazardous wastes properly.
Report all accidents immediately.
Assist other associates as needed and/or directed by management.
