About The Position
The Collision Center Porter is responsible for safely transporting customer and shop vehicles between collision center locations. This role also involves picking up and delivering parts from local vendors and suppliers, providing customer transportation when needed, and performing basic vehicle inspections. The porter will maintain accurate records of vehicle movement, keep vehicles clean, and assist the team with other duties as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Maintain a Monday thru Friday, 7:30AM to 5:30PM schedule
- Comfortable and confident driving a variety of makes, models, and transmission types
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Manual transmission experience
- Prior experience in automotive, dealership, or collision repair environment
Responsibilities
- Safely transport customer and shop vehicles between collision center locations
- Pick up and deliver parts from local vendors and suppliers as needed
- Provide courteous, professional transportation for customers when required
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after transport (fuel level, visible damage, mileage, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movement
- Keep vehicles clean and organized
- Assist team with other duties as needed
