About The Position

Desoto Collision Center is looking to add motivated and dedicated members to our Team. The Collision Center Estimator is responsible for capturing every viable job that enters the building. The position writes accurate estimates and follows the vehicle progress through the repair process. Responsible for educating customers about the repair process. Keeps customers informed and files updated.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Reliable attendance required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements
Efficient in estimating systems (CCC1)
Ability to write accurate repair estimates
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Commitment for continued learning (I-Car)

Responsibilities

Capturing every viable job that enters the building.
Writing accurate estimates and following the vehicle progress through the repair process.
Educating customers about the repair process.
Keeping customers informed and files updated.
Ensuring all files are up to date and accurate per DRP guidelines.
Following DCC policies for updating customers throughout the repair process.
Performing part searches and placing orders if needed.
Keeping their work space clean and organized, adhering to DCC dress code.
Wearing proper safety equipment when necessary.
Encouraging customers to leave or schedule their vehicles for repair.
Preparing complete and accurate estimates to minimize supplements.
Being an active participant in morning meetings, aware of sublet repairs and status of their customers’ vehicles.
Communicating issues or concerns to team members to resolve problems.
Performing other duties as assigned by Manager to ensure efficient and effective business operations.
