About The Position

Hendrick Collision is looking for a collision Estimator to join their team at the Gwinnett Place Honda Collision Center. This is a very busy, air-conditioned shop equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The role requires a passion for properly repairing cars and delivering excellent customer service, within a supportive team environment known for its great culture. The position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Working knowledge of body repair methods.
Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills.
Valid Driver’s License.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability and knowledge of Collision Center Management System and additional software programs to support operations.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, company personnel, and insurance adjusters.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations.
Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.

Responsibilities

Schedules appointments with customers.
Works with customers and Collision Center Technicians to identify required repair work.
Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicles to the condition specified by the customer.
Enters itemized estimates on repair orders and explains them to customers.
Meets Collision Center standards for repair/order production.
Maintains CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) at or above Company standards.
Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Participates in required training.
Records all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
Complies with Company policies and procedures.
Observes all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
