About The Position

Hendrick Collision is looking for a collision Estimator to join their team at the Gwinnett Place Honda Collision Center. This is a very busy, air-conditioned shop equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The role requires a passion for properly repairing cars and delivering excellent customer service, within a supportive team environment known for its great culture. The position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of body repair methods.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability and knowledge of Collision Center Management System and additional software programs to support operations.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, company personnel, and insurance adjusters.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules appointments with customers.
  • Works with customers and Collision Center Technicians to identify required repair work.
  • Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
  • Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicles to the condition specified by the customer.
  • Enters itemized estimates on repair orders and explains them to customers.
  • Meets Collision Center standards for repair/order production.
  • Maintains CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) at or above Company standards.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
