At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with previous tutoring experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Stockton, CA! If you're committed to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs and helping them achieve academic success, we want to hear from you! As an In-Home Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to a student in their home. You will be responsible for supporting the student with daily academic activities, offering encouragement, and delivering tailored instruction based on their individual learning needs. Details: In-Person Tutoring in Stockton, CA Comfortable working with a college student Comfortable with college level Calculus Pay range is $35-$40 per hour (negotiable) multiple tutoring sessions per week

Requirements

Must be able to commute to Stockton, CA
Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Ability to make learning fun, interactive, and student-focused
Ability to pass an in-person background check (if required)
Previous tutoring experience
Comfortable working with a college student
Comfortable with college level Calculus

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on calculus concepts and problem-solving.
Adapt materials, examples, and teaching methods to match the student’s learning style and academic goals.
Track and document the student’s progress, adjusting instruction as needed to reinforce understanding.
Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any questions.
Create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages confidence and academic growth in calculus.
