About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time Event Staff in Fort Collins. Event Staff support event-day preparation and execution by helping guests enter venues, collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, directing venue traffic, and providing friendly, helpful customer service. Staff also help maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and upkeep of designated areas. Work takes place at sporting events and other venues, with flexible scheduling and event shifts paid at $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• May be required to pass a driver’s record check.
• Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into venues by collecting or scanning tickets and verifying wristbands and badges.
• Direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them at the end of interactions.
• Provide guests with helpful directions or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Direct foot traffic and help ensure the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of designated areas.
• Provide superior customer service.
