About The Position

The College of Nursing Recruiter implements and evaluates the recruitment program of the College of Nursing. Represents the college at a variety of recruitment events. Provides leadership in coordinating recruitment strategies with elementary, high schools, postsecondary institutions and medical facilities in the assigned territory. Maintains contacts with secondary and postsecondary counselors, teachers, administrators, prospective students, and parents/families. Implements evaluation procedures for recruitment activities. Assists prospective and College of Nursing students with understanding their career options.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications or a related field
  • Knowledge or experience in a nursing/healthcare educational programs and careers.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to represent the College of Nursing to prospective students and their parents/families as well as to faculty members of other educational institutions.
  • Basic knowledge of the financial aid process (completing a FAFSA, etc.).
