This recruitment will be used to fill 10 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU). Appointments are expected to begin the week prior to the start of Fall Term 2026 to allow for onboarding and training. Peer Tutors serve as student leaders and learning partners, helping fellow engineering students better understand specific subject areas, deepen course understanding, and develop strategies for academic success. They offer one-on-one in key engineering courses and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment that supports academic development and improvement. In addition to tutoring, Peer Tutors are also a part of a vibrant peer educator community, attending and engaging in skill-building opportunities and collaborative reflection activities throughout the academic year. The COE Peer Tutoring Program is a core part of the College of Engineering’s student success ecosystem. Peer Tutors play an essential role in building a supportive community of learners and a sense of belonging for all COE students- in Corvallis, Ecampus, and Cascades campuses alike. The Undergraduate Student Support Services Worker performs a variety of work related to the support and enhancement of the quality of student life at the university.
