About The Position

Student Health and Counseling seeks a skilled clinician with experience in college counseling and/or equivalent settings. The Counseling team is part of a multidisciplinary clinical group embedded in the Wellness Center, collaborating with Student Health as well as Public Health and Wellbeing to offer a range of services to the University of Pennsylvania student community.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling with 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree required in Psychology or Social Work, with 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Solid understanding of how marginalization, inequality, and identity impact students.
  • A Cover Letter and Resume/CV are required to be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding and foundation in multicultural counseling is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: BIPOC, LGBTQ, faith-based student concerns, eating-related concerns, and substance use is highly desirable.
