Ocean County College is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and innovative full-time lecturer to lead our newly redesigned Media Production program beginning the 2027 Academic Year with a start date of August 2026. The College seeks someone who has the experience and enthusiasm for media education, film, and television as well as the capacity to leverage the college’s facilities, resources, and network to elevate the footprint of media production at OCC and across Ocean County. With a full-scale TV studio, production lab, and top-of-the-line equipment, OCC wants someone who can grow and develop the program to make the College an educational leader in the industry. This position provides instructional and administrative services including teaching, adjunct mentoring and observations, program assessments, committee and college governance membership, CTE funding assessment and advisory committee participation, and other relevant duties. A 12-credit equivalent workload is required for administrative supervisory duties. Classification: College Lecturer (Non-Tenure Track Position) Instructional Duration: Full-Time Permanent 12-Month This is an in-person position, candidates must be able to teach in-person at our Tom's River location. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to a commutable distance from Tom's River, NJ to begin the position in August. Ocean County College does not provide visa sponsorship.
