About The Position
This internship is designed for juniors and seniors majoring in International Business Administration or Logistics. The intern will provide professional-level support to the International and Air Operations department, gaining real-world experience. Success in this role requires polished written communication skills for daily interactions with agents and the ability to learn software systems quickly.
Requirements
- Juniors or Seniors currently enrolled in university level programs with course load focus/majors in International Business Administration and/or Logistics
- Good working knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and seaports.
- Computer skills including MS Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to multi-task
Nice To Haves
- Previous office environment work or internship experience
Responsibilities
- Execute the systems set up of new customers and vendors
- Finalize shipment files
- Produce revenue and volume reports for management
- Produce reports on purchased transportation
- Produce corporately required reports
- Provide rate quotation assistance
