About The Position

This is a paid internship program. The intern will assist the Bureau of Water Supply Planning and Assessment Agricultural Assistance Team with daily activities. This includes written and verbal communication with agricultural producers and other stakeholders, producing maps in ArcGIS, and participating in site visits. The internship will run for 16 weeks, with the work being 20 hours per week. Interns will produce reports/presentations to highlight accomplishments.

Requirements

• College or university student currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program
• Attending classes or participating in a work experience program sanctioned by the individual school
• At least a junior level (senior level preferred) studying agriculture, life sciences, environmental science or a related field
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher

Responsibilities
