College Game Day Security
About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is seeking dependable and energetic Event Security Guards to work college football home games in State College, PA. This is an exciting seasonal opportunity to earn additional income while working in a high-energy game-day environment. The position runs from September through the end of November, with shifts available during all home games. Approximately 25 seasonal positions are available. This is a seasonal employment opportunity from September through November, with primarily weekend shifts. It offers a fast-paced and exciting game-day atmosphere, the opportunity to earn additional seasonal income, and the chance to work alongside an experienced and professional security team. There are potential opportunities for continued employment with KRE Security after the season.
Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation to State College, PA
- Must be available to work weekend home games
- Must be comfortable working around large crowds
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must communicate clearly and professionally
- Must remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings
Nice To Haves
- Previous security, military, law-enforcement, customer-service, or event experience is preferred but not required
- Availability for all home games is strongly preferred. Applicants who can commit to the entire season will receive priority consideration.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, alert, and professional security presence
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated restricted areas
- Help enforce event policies and established safety procedures
- Provide directions and professional assistance to guests
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Follow all instructions provided by supervisors and event management
