About The Position

As a College Coach at Path to College, you will support our students as they participate in our program and apply to college. Most of your responsibilities will focus on student-facing tasks that are centered around relationship building and operations maintenance. You will represent Path to College in the community by leading student recruitment sessions and outreach workshops throughout local high schools and with community partners. In addition, you will perform administrative tasks to support the academic fellowship and outreach programs. We currently have a hybrid remote/in-person work model to adapt to the needs of each student. There will also be in-person events throughout the year that you will help prepare the students for.

Requirements

• Current college student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Effective and active listening skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
• Completion of a National Service Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Support students in college and scholarship applications, resume writing, community impact proposals, and ED-Talks.
• Represent Path to College in the community by leading student recruitment sessions and outreach workshops.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the academic fellowship and outreach programs.
• Attend Fellowship meetings on Wednesdays.
• Check in with the cohort.
• Put in advisor updates.
• Attend a weekly meeting with the Academic Program Manager.
• Help prepare students for in-person events throughout the year.
