About The Position
Sports Info Solutions (SIS) is seeking motivated candidates to serve as scouts for collegiate basketball games. This role involves attending games in person and using SIS's proprietary software to collect data. The position offers flexible scheduling based on game times and scout availability. SIS provides game tickets and parking passes (if applicable). This is primarily a part-time, pay-per-game position with the potential for career growth within SIS. SIS is a pioneer in the sports data industry, founded in 2002 with the mission to improve decision-making in sports through data, analytics, and technology. They are a leader in collecting, analyzing, and distributing data and insights to professional sports teams across MLB, NBA, and NFL.
Requirements
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and identify basketball concepts.
- Access to and ability to operate a smartphone.
- Transportation to the stadium.
- Capability to quickly and accurately identify information for the duration of a basketball game.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
