About The Position
To teach College and Career Readiness class to adult students.
Requirements
- As set by the State certification requirements for the teaching area: Non-Credit Mandate Program (107)
- 1-2 years of experience teaching adults
- Prior experiences working in an environment with adult learners
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Student Leadership Council
- Create projects designed to enhance lectures
- Utilize various curriculum resources
- Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans
- Work with program lead to ensure initiatives are being met
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Observe and evaluate student's performance
- Manage student behavior in the classroom
