The College & Career Empowerment (CCE) Champion will help strengthen and support Grow Public Schools’ college and career readiness and empowerment initiatives for the 2026–2027 school year by building alignment across campuses, middle school grade levels, and existing student opportunities. This role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of a cohesive college and career exploration experiences for students through collaboration with school leadership, counseling teams, and Home Office partners. The CCE Champion will help connect classroom learning to broader college, career, and pathway opportunities while supporting student transition planning, cross-functional programming, and continuous improvement efforts that contribute to a sustainable and student-centered college and career readiness system across the organization. Grow Public Schools is seeking four CCE Champion Teachers to partner with school and Home Office leadership, Counselors, College & Career Success Coaches, and CSUB College Corps Fellows to advance college and career exploration for 7th and 8th grade students. Selected teachers will collaborate on a scope and sequence for implementing pre-built tangible career skill exploration activities within Arvin and Shafter’s weekly College & Career blocks, align these lessons to local high school pathways and California’s 12 Career Ready standards, and champion connections to existing college and career empowerment initiatives.
