Requirements

  • Previous collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or related experience preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Microsoft Office and computer proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers regarding overdue balances
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and account resolutions
  • Monitor delinquent accounts and identify payment issues
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate records
  • Research returned payments, chargebacks, and discrepancies
  • Coordinate with collection agencies or legal resources when needed
  • Deliver professional and positive customer interactions throughout the process
  • Maintain customer account documentation and reporting
  • Perform account reconciliations and payment research
  • Provide updates and reporting to leadership
  • Help improve processes and identify operational efficiencies
