About The Position

Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Phlebotomist to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting the Blood Center's mission of saving lives by collecting blood donations safely from volunteer donors. The position requires a compassionate and professional approach, ensuring an exceptional donor experience. The anticipated salary starts at $18.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience. Requirements

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to effectively interact with diverse people and communicate (verbal, written, and listening) fluently in English.
Proficient with basic computer skills and office tools, such as Microsoft Office, and ability to use software relevant to the position.
Ability to solve problems and make decisions, seeking guidance as necessary.
Background checks and drug screenings are required.

Nice To Haves

Medical Assistant Certification or Phlebotomy Certification is strongly preferred.
6 months' experience in a Blood Center or other Healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
1 year's experience in customer service is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional donor experiences utilizing job experience and knowledge.
Process donors through their entire donation process (screening and whole blood phlebotomy, and automated collections when appropriate) using all computer systems.
Ensure donor safety by complying with all Blood Center standard procedures and other regulatory standards.
Set up all supplies and equipment, complete daily quality control, and ensure all equipment and supplies are available before the collection event.
