About The Position
The finance arm of Frank Myers Auto Maxx, a highly awarded independent dealership, is seeking an experienced Collections Manager. This role focuses on leading collections efforts and assisting customers in fulfilling their purchase agreements. It emphasizes communication, problem-solving, accountability, and customer relationships over a purely call-center approach.
Requirements
- Experience with automotive collections, Buy Here Pay Here, finance company, or consumer lending collections
- Experience with skip tracing and locating customers and vehicles
- Experience managing delinquent accounts and reducing charge-offs
- Experience negotiating payment arrangements and following through
- Experience with repossessions and recovery processes
- Experience with collection software and reporting systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and excellent follow-up habits
- Professionalism and integrity
- Self-motivation and accountability
- Thick skin and a positive attitude
