About The Position

Aston Carter's large client in Burnaby is seeking a Bilingual Collections Associate to join their team! This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnaby, BC. The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $60000.00/hr. This is a hybrid position in Burnaby, BC.

Requirements

• 3+ years of business to business collections and customer service experience
• Fluent communication both written and verbally (French and English)
• Experience with front end soft collections and late stage collections
• Intermediate Excel Skills (Testing Required)
• Tech Savvy - using multiple platforms

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Auto/Heavy Equipment/Marine collections
• Process improvement experience
• Oracle Experience
• Experience working with a dialer system
• Skip tracing experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the early-stage collections on majority commercial and some consumer accounts.
• Prioritizes collections of accounts within team
• Identifies process gaps and recommends solutions for improvements
• Problem solves a solution for early defaults and collapses and presents to management
• Responsible for reducing the collapse rate
• Track and report (excel and qualitative feedback) on work queue results
• Controls the negotiation with customers on payment timelines, partial payments, default fees, etc.
• Responsible for operational issues
• Performs other duties as assigned
