About The Position

ImpactLife is seeking a Collection Specialist 1 to join its Donor Services Phlebotomy team in mobile collections. The role conducts donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy, and provides care to donors during the donation process. This is a full-time position working 30–39 hours per week, with varied hours that include days, evenings, and weekends. The employee may need to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time.

ImpactLife is an independent community nonprofit blood center serving more than 120 hospitals and emergency medical service providers across a four-state region. The organization has a team of more than 800 across Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin, and works with blood donors and community partners to help save lives.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Good, stable work history.
• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and ability to be insured by the company's insurance carrier.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.
