About The Position

Join a fast-growing healthcare organization expanding access to preventive and community-based care across Nevada. Support Nurse Practitioners while maintaining flexibility and minimal administrative burden. Your guidance helps Nurse Practitioners deliver high-quality care to underserved populations throughout Nevada. Support preventive care, care gap closure, and population health initiatives while helping scale a growing clinical program. You provide guidance, solve problems, and help clinicians deliver better care.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Active, unrestricted Nevada medical license
• Board Certification in a related specialty
• Reside and actively practice in Nevada
• Prior NP collaboration experience in Nevada
• Knowledge of Nevada collaborative practice requirements
• Experience with Medicaid populations or managed care programs

Nice To Haves

• Nevada Medicaid MCO experience
• Medicare Advantage or D-SNP experience
• Home-based or community-based care experience
• Knowledge of HEDIS (quality measures), Stars, and risk adjustment
• Experience collaborating with multiple NPs

Responsibilities

• Serve as Collaborating Physician for Nevada Nurse Practitioners
• Provide clinical consultation and treatment guidance
• Support Medicaid, Medicare, and dual-eligible populations
• Conduct chart reviews and clinical oversight activities
• Ensure regulatory and payer compliance
• Review clinical protocols and quality initiatives
• Support credentialing, audits, and compliance readiness
