About The Position

We are looking to fill the position of maintenance supervisor. This is a HANDS-ON position reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The job is located at our Cold Storage facility in Taunton, MA. This position will also require local travel to other locations, such as New Bedford, MA. Oversee and perform upgrades to refrigerated warehouse space. Maintain existing warehousing and production facilities. Develop a skilled maintenance team and supervise a small group of maintenance technicians and helpers. Inspect and repair machinery and facility systems such as electrical and plumbing. Complete specific projects with or without help from the crew. Provide support for maintenance on various machines within a cold storage facility.

Requirements

• Project management experience.
• Previous experience in facility/factory maintenance.
• Ability to create and follow plans for repair and maintenance.
• Ability to lift to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 2+ years mechanical and electrical experience maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment or combination of experience and trade school.
• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, sanders in the set up and fitting for welding or in finishing of welds.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Preventive maintenance program experience / CMMS software a plus.
• Ammonia Exp. Is a PLUS
• Operator 1-3 Cert is a PLUS
• EPA 608,601 a plus
• Previous experience in Cold Store is a plus
• Previous experience in facility/factory refrigeration areas is desired.
• Compliance / Refrigeration programing is a plus
