Requirements

• Experience operating a Cold Saw
• Ability to read a tape measure (you will be tested)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to speak and understand English fluently
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (training provided by certified personnel)
• Cold Saw Operator: 1 year (Required)
• Steel: 1 year (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Charlotte, NC 28273 (Required)
• Ability to Relocate: Charlotte, NC 28273: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Steel industry experience preferred
• Warhouse: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate Cold Saw machines to cut steel accurately to specifications
• Operate additional equipment such as cranes, forklifts, side loaders, or other saws as needed
• Load and unload bar, tubing, plate, sheet, and structural materials
• Fill orders accurately by verifying size, type, and heat numbers
• Check in and rack material, ensuring it is properly color-coded
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures
