About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on, dependable problem solver to operate and set up cold forming/header machines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, getting dirty, figuring out problems, and learning new skills. The right person does not need to know everything on day one. Training will be provided, with the expectation that you will learn to eventually set up and operate the machines independently.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate cold forming/header machines with training.
Learn to perform machine setups independently.
Load and feed material and adjust machine settings and tooling.
Monitor machines and troubleshoot issues during production.
Make adjustments to keep machines running properly and parts within specifications.
Perform basic quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Read and understand part prints, tool layouts, and progression sheets.
Document quality measurements and production information.
Assist with tooling changes, repairs, and maintenance.
Use forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
